Bridgestone MB-3 blue 100% original time capsule 14” frame 26” wheel custom refurbished

A 100% original Bridgestone MB-3 mountain bike, down to the grips and tires! Normally we would change tires and grips, but it seems appropriate to delay that for the buyer to make the choice. 

It’s a 1992 Bridgestone MB-3: metallic blue frame, vertical LOGIC fork graphic, cream/white Bridgestone downtube lettering, small MB-3 top-tube treatment, and Deore DX equipment. Bridgestone’s 1992 catalog specifies the MB-3 in red or blue and describes it as a Ritchey Logic CrMo bike with Deore DX drivetrain.

That’s straight out of Bridgestone’s 1992 specification chart. 

The 1992 MB-3 was built with richer Logic CrMo, tubing while the MB-4 below it used double-butted Tange CrMo. Bridgestone specifically advertised the Logic tubing, Logic fork, DX drivetrain and Dia-Compe 986 brakes as the MB-3’s upgrades over the MB-4. 

This was basically Bridgestone’s sweet-spot enthusiast MTB: not the exotic MB-1/MB-2, but a genuinely high-quality, lightweight rigid mountain bike without spending top-model money. Bridgestone itself said the MB-3 had sold out faster than any other model in both 1990 and 1991.
